Politicians should think about the next generation, not election: Varun Gandhi 28.7.2018 DNA: India
The time has come when politicians should stop thinking about elections and start focussing on the next generation. And, only then the country is going to go forward,"said BJP MP Varun Gandhi during his visit to the city on Friday. Gandhi was addressing the students of Karnavati University on Justice delivery and the impediments before it. Speaking about why India has not reached where it should have reached, Gandhi said, "India has been lagging behind in investment and innovation." Citing a Niti Aayog report, he showed that while India has the largest number of startup enterprises, it also shares the dubious distinction of birthing the largest number of unsuccessful startups. Most funders tend to give up on startups in just three years. While those in the foreign countries show great patience. Amazon, for instance, reportedly had employed over 3000 market research professionals four to five years ahead of its launch in India. Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying a European holiday with his family - wife Gauri Khan and three gorgeous children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. The family has been taking turns to share pictures from their vacation on social media and this time it was Gauri's turn. The mother of three took to social media on June 8 to share a frame-worthy picture of her children.  Suhana, like always, looked stunning in a white thread-embroidered tank top and hot pants. Aryan maintained his patent why-so-serious look in a loose dark-blue full-sleeves T-shirt as he 'leaned on' his younger brother. But, guess who stole the show. Ofcourse, Abram! Based on the spotting, it is likely Apple may introduce the new iPad with FaceID support later this year.  Recently, Apple and Samsung ended a years-long patent battle over copied iPhone design with an undisclosed settlement, according to a US court filing today. The world's two biggest smartphone makers reached a truce in their seven-year-old court battle a month after a federal court jury ordered Samsung to pay Apple some $539 million for copying patented iPhone features. That award was seen as a victory for Apple, which had argued in court that design was essential to the iPhone. Financial terms of the settlement were not revealed and neither company elaborated on the brief court order which dismissed the litigation dating back to 2011. "Whereas the court has been ...

Huawei's Watch 3 could pack a pair of built-in earbuds, suggests new patent 4.7.2018 DNA: Urban Tales
Huawei was granted a patent by The World Intellectual Property Organization for a wearable device storing a Bluetooth headset. The images used on the patent show a smartwatch, possibly revealing the brand's plans for a Huawei Watch 3. A smartwatch that houses earbuds would have its advantages: for starters, no more forgetting your headset, they'd always be waiting to take your calls or play music. But how can the two be combined in a wearable design? First spotted by LetsGoDigital, the patent doesn't suggest just one design but rather outlines multiple storage possibilities, including sliding them into cylinder compartments between the band and the watch face, on either side. This could work on a larger wrist, as it would likely result in a rather bulky case. The other option proposed is storing them on the underside of the wrist in a small container where a buckle would normally rest. The earbuds could also be designed to be water-resistant, according to tech blog Engadget, which notes that there could ...
