Mysuru Palace to get green toilet facility soon 15.6.2017 Deccan Herald - News
Following the overwhelming response received for the green building constructed atop Chamundi Hill, the second such public convenience facility is coming up on the premises of Mysuru Palace. Deputy Commissioner D Randeep performed ground-breaking ceremony for the green building here on Sunday. The Mysuru chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Axles, in partnership with the district administration, will construct the facility at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore. Randeep said that the new toilet facility was much needed at the Palace as it attracts thousands of visitors everyday. CII is doing a commendable job working towards making Mysuru the first friendly tourist destination in India.
