The Metro is likely to ply to Anjanapura Township from December next year as civil works on the extension from Yelachenahalli will be completed by March, Bengaluru Development Minister K J George said on Friday. Briefing reporters after inspecting the 6.6-km stretch, George said most of the on-site work, which is susceptible to traffic conditions on the busy Kanakapura road, has been completed. "The stretch has five stations. I have been informed that civil works will be completed by March. We have tentatively decided to run trains on this route from December next year," George said.
