After two straight cuts, state-owned oil firms today raised aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price by 3.5 per cent.Jet fuel or ATF rates in Delhi were raised by Rs 1,325 per kilolitre to Rs 39,307 per kl . 

FM said that he took a risk of facing inflation in raising excise duty for mobilising resources, but is confident that its impact will be absorbed. This would have an inflationary impact of 0.41 per cent on wholesale price index which would be absorbed in due course of time, he said. 

PMs IT Advisor Sam Pitroda today said the Government expects to complete the auction of 3G spectrum in the next 2 months. The operators would start offering the service this calendar year itself said Pitroda. The Government is hopeful of bringing 4G services in the country in the next 2 years.
