TURA, June 18: In a strange scene, the salaries of teachers of the Mendipathar Secondary School in North Garo Hills (NGH) district was withheld allegedly on the non submission of utilization certificates (UC) of a school building that has been lying undone for close to a decade now.
The withdrawal of teachers’ salaries has also not gone down well with the Achik Youth Council (AYC) who paid a visit to the school on Monday afternoon.
