Agencies, Pune, Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Kerala and above normal in some parts West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu. Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and below normal in some parts of Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. They were normal over rest parts of the region. The highest maximum temperature of 43.2°C was recorded at Khargone (west Madhya Pradesh). Rain or Thundershowers observed were at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and at a few places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at isolated places over Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.
