After a six-year prolonged legal battle, veteran Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari has finally accepted that the young man who took him to court is indeed his son. If Mr Tiwari had accepted Rohit Shekhar, now 34, as his son at the outset, he would have been spared the humiliation of a court case, a DNA test, and, of course, the media trial. Now that Mr Tiwari is happy to be united with his “new” family, the media would do well to leave them alone.
