The Head Constable (HC) of South Dwarka Police station has emerged as a heroic figure, after he saved the lives of 3 students, when they suffered and sustained electrical shock trying to save their friend. Bhavesh could not be saved and succumbed to his injury at the hospital. Deepak Kumar, who was patrolling the area of Ramphal Chowk when the incident happened, was helped in getting rid of traffic jam due to waterlogging after heavy rains. Around 9 pm, he heard screams and rushed to see what had happened. When he saw four students suffering an electric shock. Kumar, using his quick thinking and presence of mind, immediately took off his rubber boots to kick the victims' hands off the iron board. Although all the four were able to get off the board, however, Bhavesh, who got initially electrocuted, could not be saved. After the relief, Bhavesh thanked the head constable, but he soon fell as he was being taken to an auto-rickshaw nearby. The officer tried on him CPR and pumped his chest multiple times, ...
