Former Union finance minister Yashwant Sinha today once again trained his guns on the economic policies of the Narendra Modi-led government and called for lokshakti (peoples power) to check rajshakti (government). Speaking at an event organised by farmers NGO Shetkari Jagar Manch at Akola in Vidarbha region, he also singled out the central government over demonetisation and implementation of GST. Referring to socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan, Sinha appealed for a lok shakti movement which will keep a check on raj-satta (government).
