Couple found hanging from tree in Raj 26.5.2018 General News
The bodies of a young couple were found hanging from a tree in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district this morning, police said. The couple was engaged from childhood and their bodies were found in an agricultural field, 60 km from their native villages in Madhya Pradesh's Raigarh district, they said. The police suspect it was a case of suicide. SHO Aklera Police Station Sanjay Chandel said the bodies of Pawan Dangi (20) of Ghodakheda village and Kanta Dangi (17) of Dariyapur village were found hanging from a tree today by a passerby. A motorcycle belonging to Pawan was found parked about 100 meters from the spot and mobile phones, IDs, a purse were seized from there but no suicide note was found, he said. They left their houses yesterday afternoon and when they did not return for a few hours, their families called them. Pawan told them that Kanta was with him and they would return in the evening after a drive, the SHO said. He was a Class 12 student while the girl had dropped out of school. ..

In a bizarre incident, a police constable was killed, while his three co-passengers escaped unhurt after their car fell into a roadside ditch here last night. The deceased, Mukesh Shekhawat (34), was returning home with three friends when their car collided with a divider on the Jhalawar-Baran road and fell into a ditch, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Anantpura police station, Deshraj, said today. Shekhawat died on the spot, while his friends emerged unscathed, he said. Police reached the spot to find that only one of Shekhawat's friends, Ranku, was present there. The other two, Hariom Gujjar and Gurupreet Singh, had fled. Gujjar and Singh are under suspicion as they fled from the spot and remain untraceable, the ASI said. Two wanted criminals from an infamous gang of Mewat in Haryana were arrested on Monday by the Delhi Police from Pancharipuri following a brief shootout. Four men were arrested for allegedly duping people by posing as officials from the Reserve Bank of India and gaining details of their bank accounts, the police said today. On March 13, a complaint was submitted by a 78-year-old woman in which she stated that she received a call from an unknown number and the person pretended to be an employee from the RBI, they added. The employee stated that her bank account was to be linked with Aadhaar card. She shared her ATM card details along with the OTP received at her registered mobile phone. After sometime, when she checked messages, she found that an amount of Rs 1.85 lakh have been deducted from her two PNB accounts, the police said. During investigation, details were obtained from the bank concerned and it was found that the fraudster had transferred the amount to different e-wallets.
