SHILLONG, Aug 14: The Civil Society Women’s Organization (CSWO) has urged the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government to consider initiating peace talks with the proscribed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC).
“The CSWO is of the view that the government of Meghalaya should call for peace talk with the HNLC, when they have willingly offered for unconditional peace talk,” CSWO President Agnes Kharshiing said in a statement issued here on Tuesday.
