SHILLONG, April 20: Matrilineal Meghalaya on Friday took to the streets to express their condemnation and concern over the increasing number of violence against women and children in the country.
While, members of various NGOs, pressure groups, civil society wearing black and pinning up black ribbons lighted candles and displayed placards at the Lower Lachumiere, tri-junction, members of various martial art academies observed the same at Khyndailad, Police Bazaar point.
