SHILLONG, Dec 10: Having spent over a month undergoing treatment at the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Science (NEIGRIHMS) after being brutally assaulted in East Jaintia Hills (EJH) district, the president of the Civil Society Women’s Organization (CSWO) was finally discharged from the super specialty hospital on Monday.
She has however been asked to attend follow up treatment in the hospital’s Out Patient Department of Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and orthopaedics.

DIMAPUR, Dec 07: The NSCN-K has revoked its decision of “unilateral abrogation” of ceasefire with the Government of India with “immediate effect”.
In a joint press note late last night, the NSCN-K statement jointly signed by its chairman Lieutenant General (Retd) Khango Konyak and the outfit’s general secretary Colonel (Retd) Isak Sumi said, “Therefore, we expect the Government of India to respond positively by honouring our decision to revive the ceasefire in the interest of peace in Nagaland and Naga people in general”.
