The U.S. consulate general is organising “Election Watch”, a special event for invited guests to watch the U.S. Presidential elections. A statement issued by the U.S. consulate said that a diverse group of American citizens, members of Kolkata’s civil society, high school students and teachers, academicians, business leaders and NGOs are expected to attend the U.S Election Watch to be held at American Center from 5 am to 12 noon on November 7.

The audience will have the opportunity to listen to U.S. ambassador Nancy Powell’s message from New Delhi.
