The work of the squad would be similar to that of the Anti-Romeo Squad of Uttar Pradesh; however in Jaipur the youth and men found indulging in eve-teasing will be punished by these women cops only.

A division bench of justices SC Dharmadhikari and Prakash Naik said, "In today's modern times, harassment by in-laws could take on many forms. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law do not have to necessarily live under the same roof to harass a woman." The woman's in-laws also said the complainant lodged a police complaint to involve the family members deliberately. There is no specific act attributed to each of them. DCW issues notice to Capital's top cop 30.4.2017 DNA: Popular News
The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik asking if women police personnel are being deployed at public places in the national capital. The move was to curb cases of molestation, stalking and rape in the national Capital. The Commission has sought the details referring to a Supreme Court order which calls for district additional commissioners of police and DCPs to depute women officers in plain clothes at bus stops, railway stations, parks and educational institutions, among others. "Further, it was directed that in case any untoward incident takes place, these officers should intervene and take legal action," the Commission said in the notice. DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal has sought a copy of the PHQ circular related to the same and details of the steps to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court.
