SHILLONG, Aug 07: The states youngest 4 districts which were created in the year 2012 came about because of the State Government’s commitment to ensure accelerated growth throughout the state, according to what the Chief Minister, Dr. Mukul Sangma said on Monday.
Speaking during a programme to mark the 5th anniversary celebration of South West Garo Hills (SWGH) district at Ampati on Monday, Dr. Sangma said, “By bring administration closer to the people we have been able to focus our programme for the people in a better way, which has facilitated that the vision of such programmes have achieved its desired result.”
