US President Donald Trump is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ASEAN summit, slated to be held in Manila on November 13-14. Trump would also be visiting Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, and Philippines to attend regional summits and discuss trade and the North Korean nuclear threat. A visit to India is not included in the itinerary. Though India is yet to make an announcement in this regard, sources said Modi was expected to attend the regional summit and discuss thorny issues, including Pakistan, with the American President.
