It is quite natural for the Chief Minister Mr.Shivraj Singh Chouhan to be sensitive about Mr.Atal Bihari Vajpayee. All the seven smart cities of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar and Satna will be named Atal cities. It will have world class libraries, excellence and research centres. His life story will be included in school text books. The Habibganj Railway station and Bhopal AIIMS hospital will be named on Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Habibganj is so named in the name of family member of the Nawab Bhopal family. At capital Bhopal a global skill park is being set up in 600 crores and it will be named on him. The State Government will institute five National Atal Bihari Vajpayee awards of five lakh each for poets, journalists and good governance. Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi on a day’s visit to Madhya Pradesh at Mohanpura in Rajgarh he dedicated Mohanpura irrigation Project. In a major step towards realising the Centre's smart city mission (SCM), the Madhya Pradesh government today launched the country's first Integrated Control and Command Centre (ICCC) for all seven smart cities of the state in Bhopal. The ICCC, installed in a building in Barkheda area of the state capital, would enable the authorities to monitor the status of various smart civic amenities in real-time through the sensors connected to it. Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Satna, and Sagar are the seven smart cities under SCM in Madhya Pradesh. State-run power giant NTPC today said it has inked a pact with Jabalpur City Transport Service for setting up charging infrastructure for all segments of electric vehicles (EVs) across the city. The NTPC has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jabalpur Smart City Ltd and Jabalpur City Transport Services for the citys foray in the e- mobility. Ved Prakash, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Jabalpur & MD, Jabalpur City Transport Services said:"The city intends to become the model city by adopting the electric mobility for segments of EVs...Going ahead, the charging of EVs shall be done by Renewable Energy sources making the initiative completely green."
